Our team

Pedro
Pedro is the Managing Partner with a global vision of the business. One moment he’s sweeping the floor, the next he’s defining production strategy. No task is too big or too small for Pedro. He’s been with Gulato since 2018.

Gonçalo
Gonçalo loves creativity, structure, and numbers. He’s the creator of Siciliano, Gulatíssimo, Cheese with Blueberry, and Coffee Biscotti Choc, and he spends hours with spreadsheets and financial analysis charts. He’s been with Gulato since 2018.

Maria
Maria (AKA Lourenço) is literally the face of Gulato. When our customers think of Gulato, they think of Lourenço. Her smile and management make the store a pleasant place to visit and stay. She’s been part of the team since 2020.

Matilde
Matilde (AKA Mati) is studying Communication Design in Porto. She’s been with Gulato since 2024 and is an endless source of joy, smiles, and opinions. She serves ice cream as if she’s been doing it for decades, and she does it with the utmost calm and friendliness.

Regivaldo
Regivaldo (AKA Regi or Negão) is our head of the lab and production. He ensures quality. Regi is diligent, meticulous, and loves his routine. He joined the team in 2023 and quickly became indispensable.

Gabriel
Ahhh, Gabriel (AKA Gabe). Gabe came through Mati. He studies Communication Design in Porto and joined the team in 2025. He fit in like a glove. A work machine and always ready to help with any task.

Sidiney
Sidney (AKA Neia) is our organizer. She wakes up early to give the rest of the team a break and prepares and cleans everything so that when we open, everything is in the right place. Neia is not shy and rolls up her sleeves whenever necessary.

Jéssica
Finally, we have Jessica (AKA Jess or Lady Jay). Lady Jay is the oil that keeps the machine that is GULATO running. Jess handles internal accounting, the IT system, suppliers, orders, insurance, etc., and occasionally makes a brownie or two. Jessica doesn’t let herself be tied down, but she’s been with us since 2021…
